The University of Utah School of Dentistry (UUSOD) is accepting applications for a full-time clinician and clinical director for a growing faculty practice. This position will oversee clinical dentists in both general and specialty dentistry, providing patient care, and will guide and direct clinical operations to maximize efficiency and ensure outstanding clinical care.
This position will report to the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs and will, along with a clinic office manager, have shared oversight of support staff.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, administrative and clinical duties associated with the UUSOD Faculty Practice, such as providing direct patient care three days per week and covering dental emergencies. Administrative duties include managing faculty practice provider schedules, ensuring UUSOD policy and procedures are followed, training faculty and staff, managing patient satisfaction and quality assurance, supporting the clinic manager with daily operations, and budgeting and forecasting.
