Evaluates nursing interventions by coordinating, delegating and supervising care provided by the healthcare team of licensed nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians.\n\nServes as a resource to staff for patient care assessment, planning, and evaluation of nursing interventions and facilitates problem resolution through collaboration with unit leadership and other supervisory staff. In collaboration with the immediate leader and other supervisory staff, identifies staff strengths and weaknesses and evaluating staff performance for team members within their span of control.\n\nEducation\n\nRequired – Registered nurse diploma.\nPreferred – Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.\n\nExperience\n\nRequired – 1 year of relevant experience as a registered nurse\n\nOR\n\n2 years of experience as an LPN in an acute care setting.\n\nPreferred – 2 years of relevant experience as a registered nurse.\n\nCertifications\n\nRequired – Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.\n\nBasic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.\n\nKnowledge\n\nSkills and Abilities\n\n(KSAs)\n
