Security Professional - Campus Patrol

As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service. By maintaining a visible presence at the front desk, you help to deter security-related incidents and support the smooth operation of daily activities. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $19.05 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control systems and / or badge management is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
