Based in Albuquerque, NM, this role oversees utility infrastructure projects from planning to completion, ensuring work meets safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality expectations. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage utility construction projects, including underground electrical, gas, and telecom systems. Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and milestones. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and field crews. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of dry utility systems. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations. Negotiate and manage vendor / subcontractor contracts and resources. Provide technical leadership, resolve field issues, and conduct quality inspections. Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 5+ years of experience in construction project management (utility or civil construction preferred). Strong knowledge of power distribution systems (high, medium, and low voltage). PMP certification highly desirable; PE license a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe, and project collaboration tools. Valid driver’s license; EL1J / EL01 license preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Working Conditions Combination of office and field-based work. Frequent site visits in the Albuquerque area.
