Material Handler 1st Shift

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools
- Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely, and without damage
- Assist co-workers and customers
- Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
- Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
Qualifications
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredA combination of education and experience may be qualifyingMust be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead craneAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistWhy Work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
