Housing Case Managers are essential in supporting those in our programs, including Project-Based Section 8 housing , our shelters , and transitional housing . Working directly with clients, you will craft personalized plans that meet their unique needs in areas such as mental health, employment, recovery, and education. Whether helping with housing applications, connecting individuals to benefits, or providing life skills workshops, you will make a tangible impact every day.

In this role, no two days will look the same. One day, you might meet with a client at their new apartment to assess their progress; another day, you could lead a skills-building workshop at our Day Center . Your ability to foster strong relationships with clients will help them stay engaged and motivated throughout their journey. Additionally, your networking skills will allow you to build connections with landlords, employers, and other community partners, further opening doors for those you serve.

The ideal candidate will have a background in social services or case management , with at least two years of experience working with populations facing homelessness, mental illness, and / or addiction. Familiarity with King County's Section 8 program and local community resources is highly desirable. You'll need to be comfortable navigating complex situations, handling crises calmly, and maintaining professional boundaries while building trusting relationships.
