As Medical Assistant in Specialty, you'll join a team that offers a customer-focused team in a friendly work environment and career growth opportunities. You'll work alongside healthcare professionals dedicated to providing an excellent patient experience. When providing hands on care, you'll room patients, obtain vitals, triage. When not providing hands on care, you'll perform non-clinical duties.
Schedule : Monday - Friday 7 : 00am to 5 : 00pm (Payson or Pine) Monday-Friday 8AM-4 : 30PM
This position is responsible for assisting clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care, as well as, implementing and evaluating direct patient care. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills to provide an excellent patient experience.
Core functions include preparing patients for exams and treatment, assisting clinicians with exams and minor in-office procedures, coordinating and managing patient care, providing clerical support, maintaining a clean environment, ordering supplies, developing communication mechanisms, and completing necessary on-boarding / orientation activities.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma / GED or equivalent working knowledge, completion of an approved medical assistant training program, active medical assistant certification, BLS certification, and strong computer skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with office medical procedures, knowledge of insurance, managed care operations, EMR and scheduling software.
