\nCerts : ACLS, BCLS, NIH

\nPREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

\nSkills : IV Start, Triage, PA Lines, Conscious Sedation.

\nJOB DETAILS :

\nTarget Ratios : 1 : 3-4

\nShift : 8 HR DAYS; 07 : 30 - 16 : 00

\nAll staff practice weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all services listed. 24 / 7 call coverage for STEMI / emergent / urgent IR and cardiology procedures.

\nCall Requirement : During the week call is 16 : 00-07 : 30 the next morning. Weekend call is Friday 16 : 00 until Monday at 07 : 30. Twice a week for two weeks in the month, one call weekend (Friday night-Monday morning) per month and one week following call weekend with no call. Occasional additional call may be required (even distribution among all staff members).

\nExpect urgent / emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.

\nCall team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN.

\nFloat Requirement : NONE

\nWeekend Requirement : Twice a week for two weeks in the month, one call weekend (Friday night-Monday morning) per month and one week following call weekend with no call.

\nPATIENT DIAGNOSES :

\n

\nThe department consist of interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular and EP device implant procedures.

\n85% / 15% split with IR being the 85%

\nAll staff practice weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all services listed.

\nLab hours : Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm, 24 / 7 call coverage for STEMI / emergent / urgent IR and cardiology procedures.

\n

\nSPECIAL EQUIPMENT : MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet, Pneumbra Thromblis System, CSI, Athrorectomby System, Bovi System for Implanta, Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit

\nVenous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit

\nUNIT SYSTEMS : EPIC
