On / Off Premise Spirits Representative
The primary responsibility of an On / Off Premise Spirits Rep is to grow the Company's market share to be responsible for all point of sale, growth and distribution of spirits sold in assigned area. This person will be knowledgeable about the Company's Spirits portfolio and educates the customers. They will use all available tools to manage marketing within accounts, build displays, merchandise products in outlets and hold tastings of products with customers in On and Off premise in order to sell new items.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years or older
High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
1-3 years of sales experience preferred
Valid driver's license for applicable state
Valid auto liability insurance for applicable state
Responsibilities
- Sell the Company's Spirits portfolio to maintain and increase United's market share
- Sell new items and programs, and increase product knowledge with customers
- Learn and maintain knowledge of the Company's product portfolio
- Build positive relationships with suppliers, customers, the Company's sales teams and Management
- Use the Company's systems to track progress towards program / incentive goals
- Host product tastings
- Build sales presentations, pricing sheets, and tasting notes for accounts to complement the sale of new items
- Manage marketing within accounts including point of sale material, displays, and brand development promotions when applicable
- Build displays in outlets to the Company's standards, to include POS and advertising
- Assist customers with building and updating menus
- Conduct staff trainings on new products
- Drive to all call points
- Perform other duties as assigned
