A tour operator is seeking candidates for a Full-time Lead A&P Line Mechanic / Assistant Director of Maintenance position based in Long Beach, CA.Successful candidates will perform all facets of daily scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the company fleet, including troubleshooting airframe, engine, and electrical systems, and replacing engines, transmissions, and other components as necessary. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Some overtime may be required.Experience maintaining Airbus EC130 and / or S76 helicopters is preferred. A strong working knowledge of helicopter airframes and engines, as well as advanced troubleshooting skills, is expected.

Paint application and preparation

Sheet metal fabrication and repair

Carbon fiber and fiberglass composite repair

Job Requirements :

Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate with no enforcement actions pending

Ability to work any shift

Professional, able to work independently or as part of a team

Proficient in using calibrated, hand, and specialized tools

Ability to read and properly use aircraft manuals

Ability to document work according to regulations

Effective time and duty management

Strong decision-making and mental alertness to ensure safety

Good physical condition

Experience / Skills :

Maintaining Airbus EC130 and S76 helicopters is preferred

Certificates & Licenses :

Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P)
