ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Methods Coordinator is responsible for managing and adjusting inventory associated with sub-contract purchase orders and production processes. This role ensures that materials are accurately received, recorded, and adjusted in the system to maintain inventory accuracy. Additionally, the Coordinator facilitates the smooth flow of materials for sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate shipping.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
- Ensure accuracy in inventory adjustments and updates related to sub-contract purchase orders.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to coordinate orders requiring the manufacture of products and ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Receive and process purchase orders, verifying details for accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory adjustments.
- ERP system (Sage), ensuring that all processes align with system requirements and that data is entered accurately.
- Support the transition to new ERP systems (Epicor) by adapting processes and ensuring system accuracy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or distribution industry.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory, order processing, and workflow management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.Competent in using the Sage computer system or similar ERP systems.High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry, inventory management, and order processing.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and support operational needs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication with stakeholders across departments.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand for the duration of scheduled shiftModerate physical effort handling parts. Equivalent to frequently exerting average effort.
