Restoration Contents Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Restoration Contents Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in both contents restoration and mitigation / mold remediation. Candidates must also be comfortable using industry-specific programs including, but not limited to, Mitigate, ContentsTrack, and DASH.
Responsibilities
Contents Restoration :
- Perform pack-out, cleaning, and inventory of personal property following fire, water, or mold damage.
- Document and track items using Mitigate, ContentsTrack, and DASH software.
- Handle, clean, and restore salvageable items including furniture, electronics, and soft goods.
- Organize and manage storage vaults for cleaned and inventoried contents.
- Assist with pack-backs and ensure all items are returned in proper condition.
- Communicate with customers professionally while maintaining care and confidentiality of their belongings.
Mitigation and Mold Remediation :
Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using industry-standard equipment.Conduct demolition of affected materials when necessary (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.).Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent secondary damage or microbial growth.Assist in mold remediation including containment setup, HEPA vacuuming, and antimicrobial application.Monitor drying progress, record moisture readings, and maintain proper documentation through software systems.Follow IICRC and company safety protocols on all job sites.Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a working Contents or Restoration Technician.Proficient in Mitigate, ContentsTrack, and DASH (or similar industry platforms).Experience in both contents handling and mitigation / mold remediation .Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments.Must be able to wear a respirator when required and pass a respirator fit test.Must be willing to work an on-call schedule in addition to regular shifts.Valid driver's license required.Must be able to pass a background screening and maintain an insurable driving record.IICRC Certifications preferred : WRT (Water Restoration Technician), FSRT (Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), and CPT (Certified Contents Processing Technician).What We Offer
