Job Details

Description

This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations in Western North Dakota to perform in-field machinery diagnostics and repairs. The role requires quality work, efficiency, and occasional overtime, including overnight stays and weekends. The position reports to our Bismarck Branch but can be based from home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build knowledge of product lines, service standards, and procedures
  • Perform field repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision
  • Conduct basic testing of machine systems
  • Repair and recondition aggregate equipment components and systems
  • Develop diagnostic reasoning skills
  • Operate heavy construction equipment safely
  • Assist in inventory data collection
  • Attend service schools as requested
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Care for tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Maintain positive relationships with team members
  • Use Pedigree electronic logbook system proficiently
  • Maintain DOT compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Complete the Aggregate Apprentice Program or have at least 3 years of experience
  • Hold a Class A CDL
  • Welding / fabrication experience is a plus
  • Own necessary hand tools
  • Work efficiently and effectively

  • Manage multiple projects effectively
  • Be personable, motivated, reliable, ethical, and adaptable
  • Have solid mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Work independently
  • Willing to travel and perform overnight field work
