Position Description

Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mold Maker to join our Research & Development department. In this position, you will play a critical role in the development of new medical devices by leading and supervising the construction of molds and R&D components, ensuring they meet all specifications and quality standards. You will direct and coordinate the machining teams in constructing these parts to create a smooth process flow through the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the construction of molds and R&D components according to instructions and engineering drawings.
• Develop and maintain clear communication with all involved teams (e.g., design, machining, inspection) to ensure seamless collaboration and project progress.
• Identify and prioritize tasks associated with mold and component construction and the order in which a component moves through the shop.
• Create Routing Sheets clearly outlining the process of a component's construction from start to finish.
• Prepare prototypes by mounting them on pallets and ensuring proper fixturing in the machine for consistent results.
