What You Will Do
- Develop Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) plans for WFT US facilities and Canadian OSB, collaborating with internal resources and specialist consultants.
- Coordinate with Fire and Explosion Prevention companies to address risks identified in DHA.
- Create installation plans with budgets and timelines based on DHA findings and work with specialized companies.
- Engage with mills regularly to ensure proper execution of safety findings.
- Schedule and oversee process safety audits at mills.
- Lead corrective action plans with divisions.
- Manage contractor safety programs, ensuring compliance and record maintenance.
- Assist with incident investigations related to contractor safety.
- Conduct regular meetings and audits to promote safety management.
- Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
BSc in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or related experience.At least 3 years' experience in an industrial / project role; 5+ preferred.Experience in heavy industrial environments.Knowledge of NFPA or equivalent dust hazard regulations (e.g., NFPA 68, 654, ATEX).Experience in risk assessment and management of change in heavy industry (preferred).Proficiency with Office 365, MS Project, Smart Sheets.Strong communication and organizational skills.Leadership qualities and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Our Highly Competitive Compensation Package And Outstanding Benefits Include
