Cabinetworks Group has an immediate opening for a Territory Sales Representative, promoting the Cardell & Medallion Cabinetry brands to the Menards stores, within Chicago, Illinois area. As a Territory Sales Representative you will develop and grow sales of Cabinetworks Group products within a designated region to meet and exceed projections for overall sales and comparative store growth.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and leverage business relationships with store personnel in order to promote sales and comparative growth
- Conduct regular store visits as determined necessary by Regional Sales Manager
- Persuade store personnel to offer Cabinetworks Group products to their consumers
- Train and support store personnel by educating them on the Cardell & Medallion Cabinetry brands, and program offering, both in-store and off-site, including training on marketing programs and promotions
- Proactively address product, warranty and / or service issues and communicate resolution with all parties involved including store personnel, and consumer
- Maintain and update display presence in showrooms
- Analyze sales metrics and develop tactical and strategic sales plan to meet and / or exceed goals
- Review monthly budget and maintain / provide quarterly account business plan
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years of selling experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED2+ years of outside sales experienceProficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated successful capability to resolve conflict over sensitive or complex issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customersDemonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with department, cross-functional business teams, and customersExcellent project management and budgeting skills with a deadline orientation and focusExcellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workloadExcellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skillsAbility to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with managementAbility to travel daily within assigned regionAbility to travel quarterly beyond regionValid driver’s license and good driving recordAbility to lift up to 50 lbsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
4 years of sales or building material industry experienceAbility to read and understand sales reports20 / 20 Design software experienceAbility to read blueprints and layoutsFamiliarity with the cabinet industryPrior trim carpentry and / or kitchen installation / design experienceStarting at $55,000 annually , commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus program.
