Key Job Details – ICU RN Travel Assignment Location : York, Pennsylvania (17403) Healthcare Setting : Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1940 - $1990 Patient Ratio : 2 : 1 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend Holiday Coverage : Work 2 of 3 major holidays Floating : May float to other ICU and med-surg floors ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (no license hits) Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC) EPIC charting experience required Proficient in advanced cardiac life support and critical care procedures Preferred : Previous charge nurse and Trauma Level I experience COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions available) Comfortable caring for COVID patients Tobacco and fragrance-free healthcare facility ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver expert care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from open heart and cardiac surgeries Perform invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arrhythmia monitoring / intervention, and advanced cardiac life support Manage cardiac devices : pacemakers, ICDs, IABP, CRRT, VAD, ECMO Administer blood products, emergency medications, and titrate cardiac / vasoactive drips Assist with bedside procedures : chest tube insertion / removal, arterial line management, wound care Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response) Float to other ICU and med-surg units as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team and start your travel nursing career in York, Pennsylvania!
