Located in Duluth, MN

Job Description :

We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Housekeepers to join our hotel team in Grand Marais, MN located right on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior. This short-term position is ideal for individuals with prior housekeeping or hospitality experience who take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests

Assignment Length : Minimum 30-day commitment starting November 1st

Pay Rate : $16.00 / hour (lodging included)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and common areas to company standards
  • Replace linens, restock supplies, and maintain overall room appearance
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed (kitchenettes, appliances, bathrooms, etc.)
  • Safely handle and operate standard cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Report any maintenance issues or room discrepancies promptly
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures

Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks for an entire shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

    • Additional Information :

  • Lodging is included during the assignment for those over a 70 mile radius.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
  • A valid driver's license and at least one year of housekeeping or related experience in the hotel industry are required
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism are essential

    • Work Environment & Expectations :

    The ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude while responding to changing needs throughout the day. Team members are expected to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, follow through on assigned duties, and contribute to a respectful, guest-focused workplace. Knowledge of basic OSHA and housekeeping safety standards is preferred, as well as the ability to communicate courteously with guests and team members.
