About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin, starting Jan 1, 2026. Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct thorough physical exams and obtain detailed medical histories for pediatric and cardiac intensive care patientsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studiesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications and therapies as appropriateProvide education and support to families regarding their child's condition and care plansCollaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and cohesive patient careAdditional Information
Must have at least 1 year of experience in PICU and CICU settingsRequired board certifications : Pediatrics; Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Wisconsin state license requiredBenefits
