job_description.job_card.job_description5+ years CNC machinist experience, with strong Swiss lathe set-up expertise Proven ability to set up, prove out, edit, and operate Swiss-style CNC lathes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications Skilled at adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling to optimize machining conditions Strong understanding of cutting tool applications and designations Must hold a valid driver’s license Perform complete set-ups and changeovers on Swiss lathes Edit and troubleshoot G-code programs as required Verify part dimensions using inspection tools, CMM, and optical equipment Accurately document part counts, scrap, and ERP entries Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Perform basic machine maintenance, including fluid checks and tool condition monitoring Prior experience with complex Swiss lathe machining Familiarity with JobBOSS or other ERP systems Experience in medical device or aerospace machining Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset Ability to mentor less experienced machinists

Swiss Lathe Set-Up Machinist Benefits and Compensation :
- Pay range : $24–$28 per hour,
- Day Shift : 5AM to 3PM
- Four-day workweek (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts)
