Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the FP&A Manager by providing forward-looking decision support and preparing insightful planning and analysis.
Continuously enhance knowledge of Victaulic's products and operational processes
- Gain an understanding of the business (products & operations) through constant interaction with operations team and management
Deliverables :
Provide support to operations and management for financial analyses and scenario planningBusiness partner with operations team
Analyze KPIs support management with data driven analysisReview results, communicate variancesCost savings program measurement & analysisContinuous review of financial drivers to develop actionable commentaryProvide monthly reports and present to management teamPrepare analysis for communication to management teamDrive new topics for presentationAnnual Budget
Provide analysis requested by management teamPrepare and deliver executive presentationsContinually improve forecasting processAssist in annual product re-costingCapital Planning / Spend Analysis
Review / update ROI on significant capital investmentsSpecial Projects Assist management with Business Cases (NPD), Process Optimization, M&A support, Capacity Planning, etc.Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested by managementDevelop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives and decision makingEducation and Skill Requirements :
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 7+ years of related business experience - MBA or CPA degree a plusCourage and curiosity to ask questions and change processes - this position works closely with senior managementFinancial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment a plusAbility to interact with all levels of operations management and teamPeriodic travel to select facilities as requiredResults oriented with ability to work under tight timelinesA team player with a "can do" attitude with a roll up your sleeves working styleExpert knowledge of excel and exposure to CPM (OneStream, HFM) / BI (Qlik / Tableau / Power BI), strong power point and presentation skills neededA solid understanding of database structure (CRM, data warehouse, ERP, etc.) and experience with a variety of financial systemsAbility to manage large volumes of work, prioritize and executeAct as a change agent someone who can adapt to and drive a culture change within this organization
