As a Security Professional - Retail Site Patrol - Full Time in Auburn Hills, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic retail and entertainment location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to incidents as needed, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Wed 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Thur 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Fri 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with crowd management and / or customer inquiries as needed during busy periods or special events.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
