We are seeking an experienced estate planning attorney with a minimum of five years in the field. The ideal candidate will excel in drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, directives, and other essential documents. Knowledge in our additional practice areas like probate, guardianship, Medicaid planning, and special needs planning is a definite plus, and a desire to learn more about those practice areas is a must. Compensation : $125,000 yearly plus bonuses based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for healthcare
- Conduct effective initial consultations
- Interface with clients providing excellent customer service
- Identify legal issues related to Medicaid and Special Needs Planning (training will be provided)
- Collaborate with client financial and other advisors to create a comprehensive plan
- Participate in community research and educational programs to promote estate planning awareness
- Willingness to develop in other areas of elder and special needs law
