ROLE HIGHLIGHTS - What to expect as a Billing Specialist
In this role, you're the detail-oriented, organized, and efficient backbone in accounting. You will have a specialized focus in the following areas
Manage and conduct data entry for all payer type billings for servicesWeekly billing of multiple payer groups and entitiesEnter, process, and track Client service authorizationsPrepare, print and mail invoices weekly.Support month-end and year-end close by ensuring all billing is done timely per Company guidelines and specific deadlines.Coordinate with the proper team member concerning denials in order to promptly remedy and / or reprocess.Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Requirements
