Strategic Financial Leader

Job Description The MetroHealth System is a leader in redefining healthcare. We are seeking a strategic financial leader to assume a key role in our organization.

Responsibilities Develop and execute finance strategy in support of our overall business plan and strategic direction.

Provide vision, innovative leadership and strategic, operational, and financial oversight for all functions related to financial management, budgeting, accounting, reimbursement, etc.

Establish and implement policies and procedures related to accounting practices.

Oversee Accounting and Financial Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Enterprise Analytics, Revenue Cycle, Treasury, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent.

Ten years of progressive experience in accounting or finance to include managerial accounting, healthcare financial management, medical group practice management, decision support systems, business planning, and mathematical analysis of business problems.

Seven years of supervisory experience in an accounting / financial capacity.

Ability to analyze complex problems and develop recommendations and solutions.

Demonstrated evidence of continuing professional self-development.

Results-oriented individual with excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications CPA Certification.

Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.

May sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to use computer.

Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.

Ability to read job-related documents.

Ability to travel.
