job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDevelop and optimize AI pipelines, including RAG architectures, LLMs, and multimodal AI systems (text, image, audio, video). Design robust workflows to extract, structure, and transform healthcare data into standardized formats using PostgreSQL and BigQuery. Build conversational and task-oriented agents that integrate with enterprise and clinical systems. Develop scalable APIs and backend infrastructure to deliver AI capabilities across the platform. Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on AI-powered features to improve accuracy, speed, and performance. Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and clinical teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions. Set engineering standards, champion best practices, and help build a world-class AI engineering team. 2–6 years of professional software engineering experience (startup or fast-paced environment preferred). Strong backend development skills with Python and Node.js. Experience designing and managing data pipelines for large or sensitive datasets. Proficiency with AI / ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Familiarity with RAG architectures, data vector embeddings, or agentic frameworks. Experience deploying AI infrastructure on AWS or similar cloud environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. Ability to work in person in Dallas, TX (relocation support available). Hands-on experience integrating AI models or agents into production systems. Previous experience as a founding or early-stage engineer. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. Passion for healthcare innovation and applying AI to solve real-world problems.

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Dallas, TX , offering the chance to join a high-growth startup at its inception.
You’ll work directly with a proven founding team to design and build cutting-edge AI infrastructure that redefines care delivery.
