Microbiologist (Los Angeles)

Responsibilities :

• Create SOP for microbiological validation and development of new procedures
• Generate IQ, PQ, and OQ for new procedures
• Conduct microbiological testing on samples on manufactured products.
• Isolate, culture, and identify microorganisms using standard microbiological techniques.
• Analyze and interpret test results; prepare technical reports and present findings.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure proper laboratory protocols are followed.
• Perform environmental monitoring and sterility testing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, EPA, ISO, GMP / GLP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA / QC, and production.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, observations, and data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of lab processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
