About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (18 : 30 - 07 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : Active state license required

Certifications : ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS

Must-Have :

Minimum of 2 years' experience required.

First-timers accepted.

On-call and holiday coverage required as needed.

Required work setting experience : Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Level I Trauma.

Required skills and experience in :

• Abdomen and Pelvis CT (with and without contrast)
• Chest CT (with and without contrast, including vascular chest)
• Head and Neck CT (with and without contrast)
• Image display and post-processing skills (3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction)
• Professional knowledge in radiation safety, isolation precautions, and contrast media preparation
• Special procedure skills (e.g., Coronary CTA)
• Spine and musculoskeletal CT
• Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture

Description :

The position involves performing CT scans on various patient populations.

Candidates should have experience in handling abdominal, pelvic, chest, head, neck, and musculoskeletal CT scans.

Proficiency in image post-processing techniques, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction, is essential.

Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care practices is required.

The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, along with on-call duty, is necessary.

Candidates must demonstrate skills in starting IVs and venipuncture.

This role requires a commitment to quality patient care within an acute care environment.
