Overview

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stewarding team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
• Train and develop stewarding staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols
• Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including food preparation areas, cooking equipment, dishwashing areas, and storage areas
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, and place orders as needed
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of dishwashing machines, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered on time and together
• Ensure compliance with food handling, sanitation, and chemical handling standards
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
