Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host / Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Maintain an organized waitlist, ensuring timely seating of guests while managing expectations.
- Provide menus and answer questions about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, including reservations and general questions about the restaurant.
- Assist in managing guest relations, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and courteously.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the host / host area and maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout the restaurant.
Experience
Previous host / host experience is preferred but not required; food service or restaurant experience is a plus.Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.Experience in hotel guest services or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.Job Types : Full-time, Part-time
