Job Description
The adjunct will teach the course Foundations of Ecology. The course is BIO-2010 Foundations of Ecology (3 Credits) : Although this is the first course in the Ecology sequence for Environmental Studies majors, it is open to all students. An introduction to basic ecological concepts such as the niche, food chains and food webs, biotic competition, importance of biodiversity, and movement of nutrients and matter through basic terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems will be included. The course will cover how ecosystems function and how human activities affect them.
