As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Supervisor Government in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer supporting a government location, where you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents. In this armed role, you will interact with staff and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents in a professional manner. Pay Rate : $27.01 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences.
  • Enforce location rules and regulations as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
  • Remain alert and observant to identify potential security-related risks.
  • Maintain a professional presence while interacting with the public and / or employees at the location.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
