job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMedical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Generous PTO and paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement Employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance Profit Sharing Plan What You’ll Do Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and incidents using CrowdStrike Falcon’s threat intelligence Ensure all systems are current with the latest security patches Develop and maintain security dashboards and reports to track organizational security posture Ensure all security operations comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for security operations, incident response, and system configurations Develop and deliver IT security training programs for staff and system users What You’ll Bring Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, preferably within healthcare Proficiency with CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Entra, and VMware vCenter Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements Understanding of endpoint protection, patch management, IT automation, storage, and redundancy principles Experience with Azure cloud structure and security Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 2+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) CISSP, CISM, or CEH certifications preferred Who We Are Fairfax Radiology Centers, LLC (FRC) is the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. IT Security Engineer / Administrator | Fairfax, VA | Full-Time | Weekdays Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking an IT Security Engineer / Administrator to join our team.
Salary Range :
- $100,000 - $125,000 - $137,500 In this role, you’ll take a proactive approach to securing our healthcare systems and networks, ensuring they remain resilient against evolving cyber threats while staying compliant with healthcare regulations.
- You’ll also play a key role in supporting our IT staff and educating employees in cybersecurity best practices.
- About the Role This is a full-time, benefitted, exempt position.
- The schedule is primarily Monday – Friday, with occasional off-hours or weekend availability required.
- This role is remote, but candidates must live in Virginia or Maryland (DC residents are not eligible for remote work).
- You must also be available to drive to our corporate office in Fairfax, Virginia, as needed.
