Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room Technics to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in surgical nursing, supporting patient safety and procedural efficiency in an established medical facility.

Location : Situated in Iowa City, IA, this role places you in the heart of a vibrant munity known for its blend of educational institutions, cultural attractions, and weling Midwestern charm. Responsibilities :

  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for various procedures
  • Monitor patients vital signs and stay alert to changes during surgery
  • Assist surgical teams with instrumentation and patient positioning
  • Maintain stringent aseptic techniques and pliance with healthcare regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outes

Desired Experience and Qualifications :

  • Current nursing license with certification or experience in Operating Room Technics (ORT)
  • Proficient in sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
  • Excellent critical thinking and munication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
