To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 70 pounds and pass a DOT physical examination. Excellent customer service skills are also essential. Furthermore, drivers are required to comply with appearance guidelines and wear a uniform provided by the employer.
Full-time drivers typically work an 8-10 hour day and their schedules may vary from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. They receive excellent weekly compensation, growth opportunities and comprehensive training.
The total compensation package for full-time delivery drivers includes no healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation and paid time off for holidays, sick leave and optional days. Additionally, the employer makes contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee.
