The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $104,880.00 to $131,100.00 . The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary :

Leads end-to-end interaction with production and brand teams, to ensure product availability for assigned portfolio brands. Co-owns strategic & tactical forums with cross functional partners including production consensus, monthly SSOS reviews, Customer Fill Rate and CI initiatives. Oversees all aspects of new products requirements to ensure compliance with market commitments. Ideal candidate possess a high degree of numerical aptitude with a strong operational background.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities :

  • Works closely with brand companies, demand planning, customer operations, warehousing, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure cost-effective inventory levels while ensuring no-out-of-stocks and optimal inventory.
  • Develops monthly Net Requirements plan and manages weekly replenishment activities, monitors inventory levels, receipt of goods and inventory management across domestic warehouses.
  • Tracks and reports KPIs including inventory performance, CFR / OTIF, SSOS, Adherence to Plan. Prepares meaningful KPI data and root causing for cross-functional forums. Owns Supply Planning action plans for planning excellence activities.
  • Responsible for the correct parametrization of Anaplan DDMRP planning system for optimal planning and execution.
  • Analyzes forecasted demand in close coordination with Sales and Marketing plans. Manages replenishment process and distribution requirement planning to all Pernod Ricard USA locations, acting as official liaison with local and global counterparts for assigned brands.
  • Owns end-to-end process to identify, maintain records, and push out slow-moving and obsolete inventory. Supports SKU Rationalization efforts and maintains discontinued items reports.
  • Responsible for coordinating regulatory requirements updates including proper label and shipper approvals, providing policy and procedure changes to production, warehousing and distribution personnel.
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives to support best in class processes. Ad-Hoc request / project as needed and assigned by the Senior Manager, Supply Planning.

Nature & Scope :

Position typically works with all levels of employees within the company (global) and is knowledgeable on all aspects of supply chain operations. Communication will include contacts within and outside the company, and position controls significant resource expenditures. Responsible for safeguarding of company information as well as substantial corporate assets. Decisions will impact the entire organization, and errors may cause significant delays, inefficiencies, and expense to the organization. We're looking for a proactive, independent thinker with deep analytical skills, coupled with the ability to work in a structured manner to thrive in ambiguity. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, dig into massive sets of information, and create solutions to problems that have never been tackled before.

Key Competencies and Qualifications :

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics or related field preferred.
  • Experience / Background :

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Planning. Strong analytical skills in a collaborative supply / demand planning process.
  • Proven, successful track record of earning trust and influencing across the organization and leading others cross-functionally to deliver on projects and goals
  • Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
  • Anaplan and / or DDMRP experience (nice to have).
  • APICS Certification (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Alcohol Beverage or Consumer Package Goods Industry experience preferred.
  • Required Skills / Competencies :

  • High level of communication, negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to organize and manage area to achieve results and track performance so that problems are detected early or prevented entirely.
  • Experience with ERP systems (JDE, SAP, etc)
  • Experience with Supply chain planning technologies like Anaplan, JDA, Logility, Oracle ASCP, etc
  • Excellent presentation, data visualization and communication skills to director level audiences.
  • Experience working with multi-echelon hierarchies and senior management.
  • Excellent Excel skills, DRP / Supply planning experience / understanding, JD Edwards.
  • Entrepreneurial, can cope with ambiguity
