Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Locums - NP / PA CVT Surgery Opportunity Hershey, Pennsylvania

Full-Time No IMLC OR First Assist + Call Through December 2025

We're seeking an experienced Cardiovascular / Thoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide full-time locum coverage in Hershey, PA. This position involves both first assist in the OR and ICU / floor coverage, with scheduled clinic hours and rotating weekend call.

Position Overview : Start Date : ASAP

End Date : December 31, 2025

Location Options : Hershey or Holy

Schedule :

• Monday-Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM (in-house)
• Call : every 5 weekends (Friday 6 : 00 PM - Monday 6 : 30 AM) - from home
• Call Nights : 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM
• 36-40 hours per week + call
• Not a PRN opportunity

Clinical Scope :

Heavy OR focus with some ICU / floor responsibilities

Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) required

First assist in cardiovascular / thoracic procedures

3-4 clinic patients / day

Stroke-Certified Hospital

EMR : Cerner

Equipment : Marquet

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible NP / PA

Active Pennsylvania License - Required

BLS & ACLS (AHA) - Required

Must have CVT experience including EVH and first assist

IMLC not accepted
