Job Summary

Essential Job Functions
- Performs analytical financial management work related to accounting, procurement, budgeting, accounts payable or receivable, and other financial tasks.
- Analyzes past and present financial operations, trends, and costs and estimates future revenues and expenditures for budget preparation.
- Assists in preparing financial status summary reports and grant close-out reports to the grantor agencies.
- Supports budgetary systems that provide control of expenditures.
- Supports accounting systems that provide detailed cost data for use by management.
- Assists with financial compliance reviews.
- May review bids and make recommendations to management.
- Reviews contracts, budgets, purchase orders, periodic cost summaries, invoices, and vouchers for compliance with statutory provisions; and prepares statements to substantiate individual transactions for settlement.
- Assists in addressing audit findings.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.Two (2) years of budgeting and / or accounting experience.Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with City of San Antonio 5-year Infrastructure Management Program (IMP).Knowledge of Street Maintenance Program (SMP).Knowledge of fiscal policies and procedures.Knowledge of Contract Procurement and performance monitoring related to Street Rehabilitation Program.Knowledge of PrimeLink and SAP.Knowledge of budget administration and monitoring procedures.Ability to conduct financial analysis and forecast expenditures.Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.Applicant Information

One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months.
