About The Position

Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in northeastern New York with an opportunity for a skilled Gastroenterologist to assist their team.

About the Opportunity :

• Flexible Schedule : 7 : 30a-5p, 1-2 weeks per month
• 24-hour call coverage required
• Trauma Level III
• Volume : 10-15 inpatient consults per day, ~40 procedures per week
• Cases : Mix of elective and urgent / emergent inpatient / ER cases
• Procedures : Endoscopy, colonoscopy
• Support Staff : NP
• Minimal NP supervision required
• EMR : Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
