Advantra is partnering with an enterprise technology consulting firm to hire an Oracle Data Conversion Project Manager to lead data migration and integration activities for large-scale Oracle Cloud and EBS implementations.
About the role
You will manage data conversion strategy, planning, and execution for Oracle ERP projects. The role involves coordinating between functional, technical, and client teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery across all phases of implementation. You will own conversion governance and reporting while resolving data mapping and transformation issues across multiple source systems.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end data conversion planning for Oracle Cloud or EBS projects.
Define and manage data migration scope, timelines, and milestones.
Coordinate data extraction, transformation, and loading activities with technical teams.
Work with business users to validate and reconcile migrated data.
Establish data quality metrics and validation procedures.
Manage cross-functional teams including functional leads, developers, and DBAs.
Develop detailed cutover and migration schedules.
Create and maintain documentation for mapping, cleansing, and validation.
Identify and resolve data-related risks and issues.
Report project progress and risks to executive stakeholders.
Core requirements
8+ years of experience in ERP data conversion or migration projects.
Proven track record managing Oracle Cloud or EBS implementation programs.
Experience leading data migration using tools such as FBDI, ADFDi, or SQL scripts.
Strong understanding of Oracle ERP data structures across Finance, SCM, or HCM.
Hands-on experience coordinating ETL and integration workflows.
Strong project management skills with Agile or Waterfall delivery.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Trinamix or similar Oracle consulting environments.
Proven ability to manage global teams and offshore coordination.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to have
PMP or Agile Project Management certification.
Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Informatica.
Experience with data governance and master data management.
Exposure to reporting or analytics in Oracle Cloud.
Prior work with large enterprise transformation programs.
