This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you'll do

• Develop new technologies and products in support of the electronic adhesives business. Identify opportunities for new technologies, products, or performance improvements.
• Lead one or multiple R&D projects critical to the business and ensure timely project milestone advancement. Actively share specialized knowledge with the organization.
• Stay current with technology and market megatrends. Responsible for new research, IP, publications, and technology roadmap. Secure IP position in own area of development.
• Design, develop, execute and support on-time commercialization of new adhesive formulations and products. Directly interact and communicate with external customers and respond to customer requests in a timely fashion.
• Travel up to 10% is required.
• Effectively work in cross-functional teams across different time zones with members from product development, project management, application engineering, process engineering, marketing and sales.
• Perform all laboratory work in a safe manner. Guide and mentor junior chemists as needed.
