About The Position

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room specialty.

The role involves working 3 night shifts per week.

The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1 : 4.

The unit handles a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census ranges from 270 to 300 patients.

The nurse should have experience in a community hospital setting.

Strong candidates with limited triage experience may be considered.

All candidates must possess required certifications.

The facility operates under Magnet recognition and is a teaching facility.

Candidates should be prepared to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with trauma level II or III is acceptable, while level I experience is not required.

Interdisciplinary support includes phlebotomy, social services, and unit secretarial staff.

The environment requires adherence to isolation precautions and the management of various critical care procedures.
