Position Overview

ENT Physicians, Inc. is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to join their growing team. The Hearing Instrument Specialist will provide comprehensive hearing care services, including hearing assessments, device selection, fittings, and ongoing patient support—all in alignment with best practices and under established medical protocols.

The practice is well-equipped with multiple audiometric testing booths to support accurate assessments and ensure providers can accommodate a full, steady patient schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing evaluations and assessments within the HIS scope of practice
• Recommend appropriate hearing aid technology based on patient needs and lifestyle
• Perform fittings, verification, adjustments, and follow-up care for hearing aids
• Counsel and educate patients and families on hearing loss, device use, and communication strategies
• Collaborate closely with ENT physicians, audiologists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and practice standards
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technology in hearing care
