job_description.job_card.job_descriptionGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Physician Assistant License from the MN State Board of Medical Practice, in good standing Certified as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA Minimum of one year experience in acute care, family practice, emergency medicine or urgent care Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current RN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing, in good standing Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota Minimum of one year experience in acute care, family practice, emergency medicine or urgent care 48 hours per two-week pay period Weekday shifts : 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm, 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm, or 12 : 00pm-8 : 00pm Some Thursdays and Fridays at Farmington Urgent Care : 7 : 00am-12 : 00pm Every fourth weekend : 8 : 45am-1 : 15pm Some minor holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve); closed on major holidays (Easter, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) Continuing Medical Education (CME) Paid Time Off accrued on first paycheck Medical and Dental Insurance, Vision Discount Plan Flexible spending accounts Life, accidental death & dismemberment, disability insurance Pension Plan (PERA) with a 7.5% company match Optional 457(b) Retirement Plans Professional Liability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Loan Forgiveness Eligibility - PSLF + MN state programs for qualifying roles Employer-provided access to required certifications and continued education Additional benefits : Free On-Site Parking, Qualified Bilingual Staff Program, Employee Assistance Program, and discounts on cafeteria, scrubs, and OTC pharmacy items

Job Summary
Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team and work as a team with other care providers to ensure delivery of premium care to each and every patient. You'll provide urgent care services including medical, orthopedic and minor surgical care; treatment for illnesses and injuries; physical examinations; laboratory and x-ray services.
Compensation
We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $53.49 - $75.52. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
Key Accountabilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Order x-rays and labs to assist in evaluating and diagnosing illnesses and injuries
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
