Speech-Language Pathology Assistant - Santa Barbara, CA

$40-45 per hour

Part time or per diem

Flexible scheduling

No weekends

Low patient ratios

12 patient neuro rehab program with day program (adults)

Paid sick time

Administer the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the Speech Language Pathologist.

Apply concepts of infection control and standard precautions in performing patient care activities.

Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with the education and competence to care for the patients.

Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills

Meet mandatory continuing education requirements

Promote compliance with all fiscal intermediary and / or other third party payers, through education, coaching and other assistance as necessary

Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency

Perform other related duties and activities as required.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited school of speech therapy assistant with a Bachelors Degree

California SLPA licensure.

Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
