Job Summary
Our company is hiring a dependable and organized Mechanic Shop Supervisor Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our diesel repair shop . The ideal candidate will assist the shop supervisor in managing workflow, supporting our diesel mechanic team, maintaining inventory, and helping ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist the shop supervisor in scheduling and assigning diesel repair jobs
- Monitor progress of ongoing work and ensure timely job completion
- Communicate job updates between mechanics, supervisors, and customers
- Help manage parts inventory and coordinate parts orders
- Maintain detailed repair logs, inspections, and work orders
- Ensure the shop remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Provide customer support and front-desk help when needed
