Job Description

A health services network in CT is currently seeking a board-eligible / certified OB / GYN Generalist to join their growing team. In this role, the OB / GYN Generalist will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based, comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients at the facility.

About the Opportunity :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient

Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
  • Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, collaborating with maternal-fetal medicine and other specialties
  • Perform vaginal, operative vaginal, and cesarean deliveries
  • Provide emergency obstetric care and consultation services
  • Evaluate and treat a broad range of gynecologic conditions, both acute and chronic
  • Provide outpatient procedures such as colposcopy, IUD placement / removal, biopsies, and sonography
  • Perform gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and open procedures
  • Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health, contraception, and menopause management
  • Provide clinical and didactic teaching to OB / GYN residents and medical students
  • Perform other duties, as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut (current or eligible)
  • Board Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Current BLS certification
  • DEA Registration
