POSITION SUMMARY / BASIC FUNCTIONS : The Tennis Professional is expected to align with and support the vision, goals, and directives established by the Director of Racquet Sports. This role involves active participation in the planning and delivery of all junior tennis programming, including clinics, private lessons, events, and tournaments. The ideal candidate will have a strong playing background and teaching experience in both tennis and pickleball, demonstrate high-level pickleball proficiency with a solid understanding of techniques, skills, and game fundamentals, and possess a proven ability to organize and manage large-scale events and group activities. A professional demeanor and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for players of all levels are essential.

Occupational Risks Some portions (75%) of daily assignments involve occupational risk, such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, injuries from falls, or back injury sustained with assisting in moving, lifting or positioning equipment / materials.
Ergonomics Risks Significant portions (more than 50%) of daily assignments involve ergonomic risk, such as regular repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, restrictive workstations, or awkward postures.
Safety Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures of Garden of the Gods Resort and Club.
