Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in referred and other professional journals, and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Professor

RESPONSIBILITIES

RESEARCH - Execute current projects and develop future proposals. Responsibilities will include : Supporting research activities to be funded by NIH R01 subaward, Contributing to a $2.1 million Phase II SBIR grant (primary site : University of South Florida), which includes specialized equipment such as FSCV instrumentation and a vibration chair for mechanoreceptor studies and assisting in the preparation and submission of a $3 million proposal under the Defense Health Agency Broad Agency Announcement (DHA BAA), collaborating on the resubmission of an NIH R01 grant. Collaborate with Dr. Nathan Schilaty, Lincoln Chair, in advancing federally funded research initiatives.

Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher level administrator of a State University. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activities. May represent university, college / school, or department / unit on university and / or statewide committees.
