Join to apply for the Ecommerce Photographer & Editor role at Glen Raven . The Ecommerce Product Photographer & Editor will support the Glen Raven portfolio of brands, capturing and editing compelling and technically accurate product photography. This role focuses on supporting the thousands of products marketed and sold by Glen Raven’s distribution brand, Trivantage, and will also support fabric product photography for Glen Raven’s flagship Sunbrella brand. Additionally, capturing photography and videography for corporate brand communications for the parent company, Glen Raven, may be needed.
The candidate will coordinate shooting, editing, resizing, renaming, organizing, and exporting photography to cross-functional marketing and web teams across the portfolio. Photography should be compelling and technically accurate to support the selling cycle of each brand across B2B and D2C environments (web, email, social, product catalogs, video, presentations, and sales support).
Responsibilities
- Photograph products; edit, retouch, and color correct images for placement on sites, email campaigns, social media, and more.
- Maintain photo asset workflow standards including organizing, renaming, and resizing high-resolution image files for internal servers, websites, Acoustic and Bynder digital asset management systems, and more.
- Ensure quality control when reviewing images before going live on websites.
- Apply Alt Text and SEO-friendly tags, titles, and descriptions where directed.
- Assist—and sometimes lead—shooting lifestyle / editorial images locally or on location.
- Handle special projects such as product and company video shooting and editing as needed.
- Stay current with photography trends and be willing to learn new software and technology.
- Be comfortable testing, exploring, and operating new technologies in partnership with capturing photography.
- Manage multiple work streams and projects, prioritizing effectively and meeting timelines.
- Work quickly, independently, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BFA in photography, new media, or other visual arts) preferred; an Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience is acceptable.3+ years of related experience.Web and / or catalog experience with a B2B or D2C company.Background in lighting, composition, and product styling.Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).Experience with a Digital Asset Manager (DAM), Product Information Manager (PIM), and / or Content Management System (CMS) is preferred.Studio-style (whitebox) product photography and editing.Comfortable researching thousands of photos across multiple image servers.Batch processing of images and files.Proficient in planning, capturing, editing, and production of video content.Photo work samples or portfolio to share with us.Proficient in adopting emerging technologies.Why Glen Raven
